Pricing and payment
Healing Strides offers traditional in-office counseling sessions at $75 per 50-minute session. Our counselors are compassionate and caring.
As you experience Healing Strides’ Colorado style psychotherapy on the ranch, you realize EAP is much more than a recreational event, and that it expedites traditional office therapy. Research has shown that the more senses involved in an experience, the more lasting the results. In EAP, sight, sounds, touch and movement are all experienced. One recovering substance abuser commented that, “It (EAP) gets you off the couch and into life.” Horses are part of the skilled therapy team that includes one or more trained therapists plus one or more horse professionals walking along side clients through a safe and secure healing experience in a private equestrian facility.
Individual, couple, and family EAP sessions are $150 per contact hour. Group sessions (up to six people) are $50 per person per contact hour. Customized team building programs and ½ day workshops are also available. Please contact us for pricing information and to reserve your session time in advance.
Medical insurance plans typically reimburse clients for some portion of psychotherapy treatment. We do not contract with any insurer for coverage, so we do not complete any insurance paperwork. Please direct questions about reimbursement amounts and timeliness to your insurance company.
Healing Strides has chosen not to contract with any insurance plan for a few specific reasons:
- Insurance companies require diagnosis to authorize any treatment. These negative labels can follow a client through life and may interfere with insurability later.
- You and your therapist (and not an insurance company) should control the goals, length of treatment, and therapeutic treatment choices.
- Normally, you pay less since we don’t increase our rates to cover costs of insurance reimbursement.
Payment is requested at the time of your appointment. We are happy, when asked, to provide a receipt at the time of your session that you may use to submit for insurance reimbursement.
